Our typical day begins with circle time where we come together as a community of learners. It's a daily interactive time where we sing our songs, read together, discuss the theme of the month and listen to each others opinions and ideas. We encourage all the children to actively participate as this builds their confidence and teaches them to respect and support each other,We then follow our daily schedule. At the end of each day a communication diary is sent home informing parents of how their day went and also adding any other important information.

OUTDOOR PLAY

We believe it is essential for young children to have outdoor play time. Our outdoor environment captures children's attention and interest. Toys, sticks, flowers, sand and water are explored with curiosity.Outdoor play has a positive effect on children's development and helps them explore and discover their environment. It is also a great time for the children to get fresh air, exercise and use their imagination.

EXTRA CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

Nursery extra curricular activities help develop confidence and are also vital to early stage development. Here at The Little Nest Nursery, we offer Ballet, Dance, Football, Gymnastics and Taekwando.

SCHOOL  MEALS

Our kitchen operates to the highest standards. Meals are freshly cooked by Ile Milele , vegetables and fruits are included with every meal to make sure the children eat healthy . There is also the option of bringing lunch from home if preferred.

World Book Day

Every year we look forward to the first Thursday in March where we get to have more fun on World Book Day. It is a fascinating day of celebrating books and reading.

The children connect with stories they are familiar with by coming to the nursery dressed up as book characters, the adults are not left out as the nursery staff come dressed up and parents come to read to the children.
